GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 3. Draw the lower part of Yaga's body. Make the shape of the head more distinct. Mark a line for the broom. Add details for the bucket. Erase excess lines.

STEP 4. Form a fully broom stick. Draw the walls of the bucket. Sketch the outline of the arms. Sotorite the excess.

STEP 5. Divide the face with two lines. Add sleeves and hands. Mark the head of the broom. Draw two lines down the centre of the bucket.

STEP 6. Add the outline of the eyes and mouth. From the top of the head, draw a line for the headscarf. Draw the arms and neck. Sketch the legs that stick out from under the dress. Add a crack at the bucket.

STEP 7. Sketch the outline of the hair, collar and bow on the head. Finish the sleeves and fingers. Sketch the swirling lines on the back of the head. Add details to the bucket and broom.

STEP 8. Add earrings and eyebrows. Draw the hair. Detail the whole drawing.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour Baba Yaga's, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.
