GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an ovals. • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Above it, draw 1 line equal to the height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 3 more lines equal to the height of the head plus 1 line equal to half the height of the head. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left , 5 lines equal to the width of the head plus 1 line equal to 1/3 the width of the head; -on the right, 1 line equal to 1/3 the width of the head.

STEP 5. Draw the stand. Enhance the legs of the chair. Sketch a picture and a doorway. Complete the shape of the face with a nose and lips. Draw a sleeve and erase unnecessary lines.

STEP 6. Work on the painting. Draw the woman's face. Draw sleeves and a napkin. Add a headscarf on her head. Add pleats to the dress.

STEP 7. Finish the painting and the stand. Add folds to the dress and handkerchief. Detail the face and fingers.

STEP 8. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour girl, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.
