How to draw a dog portrait
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.

STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the monkey. Sketch the eyes and the mouth.
STEP 2. Draw the ears. Detail the eyes. Refine the shape of the mouth by adding an additional line and erasing a redundant one. Sketch the collar on the neck of the dog.
STEP 3. Add inner lines in the ears. Draw the nose and tongue. Detail the collar.
STEP 4. Add eyebrows. Detail the tongue and the collar.
STEP 5. Work on the whole figure, adding more details to the eyes. Add a dog tag.
STEP 6. Color the eyes and the dog tag. Erase all guidelines.
